She feels that clients as caregivers for their animals, have a right to understand their pets' diseases, and finds client education to be a very rewarding part of veterinary practice.

  • Nanette Parratto-Wagner, DVM, PhD

Dr. Parratto-Wagner, a D.V.M, Ph.D., is an experienced veterinary clinician and researcher. She brings to our small animal practice special expertise in the areas of cancer, dermatology, behavioral problems, immune and endocrine (hormonal) disorders, and pharmacogenetics. She and her husband, Tom, have acquired many wayward dogs and cats over the years and miles, and are currently servants to 5 elderly dogs and 3 senior cats, each with a unique saga and medical disability. "Magoo" is featured – he is behaviorally challenged, but extremely happy and good-natured, none-the-less. Dr. Parratto-Wagner enjoys swimming (and making the dogs swim, too), gardening, and aquaculture.
